2.3 Contraindications

Treatment may not be carried out on the following persons, patients and customers (contraindications).

  • People suffering from allergies, epilepsy, infections or autoimmune diseases, infections of the respiratory tract, cardiovascular system or the skin area to be treated.

  • People suffering from diseases or being treated with medications that alter the normal re-epithelialization of the skin (e.g. diabetes, Mediterranean anemia, etc.) or who are undergoing chemotherapy.

  • Any form of active acne in the area to be treated.

  • When the treatment is carried out in combination with other aesthetic-medical treatments that compromise the thickness and integrity of the epidermis.

  • Open wounds, eczema or rashes in the area to be treated.

  • People with visible edema and bruises in the area to be treated.

  • Systemic infections and viral diseases (e.g. hepatitis A, B, C, D, E or F, HIV infection) or acute local skin infections (e.g. herpes, rosacea).

  • During chemotherapy, radiotherapy or high-dose corticosteroid therapy.

  • pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Persons under 18 years of age without the consent of their parents or guardian.
