7.2 Material compatibility

To clean the NeedlingPen Infinity CONTROL, use a mild soap-based cleaning agent and a disinfectant approved in the respective country.

You can use the following material compatibility to assess which cleaning and disinfection agents are most suitable. The surfaces of the NeedlingPen Infinty CONTROL are resistant to:

• light acids (ie boric acid ≤ 10%, acetic acid ≤ 10%, citric acid ≤ 10%)

• aliphatic hydrocarbons (e.g. pentane, hexane)

• ethanol

• most inorganic salts and their aqueous solutions (e.g. sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate)

The surfaces of the NeedlingPen Infinity CONTROL are not resistant to:

• strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric acid ≥ 20%, sulfuric acid ≥ 50%, nitric acid ≥ 15%)

• oxidizing acids (e.g. peracetic acids)

• alkaline solutions (ie caustic soda, ammonia and all compounds with pH > 7)

• aromatic/halogenated hydrocarbons (e.g. phenol, chloroform)

• acetone and gasoline
